Looks like a nice camera for 180 degrees - I'm stuck with Surveillance Station on my sinology but the stand alone Reolink recorder NVR look better.

What's the big difference between the 2v and the 3v? Is it big enough to pay more?

Dome caneras reflect light from its light source within the cameras spotlight and direct sunlight from its reflective Perspex cover. As well as they can get moisture over time within the dome making it foggy. Avoid dome cameras. I personally would get the cameras with the colour X technology

The beat down test you gave,
Pointing out slightly smaller vertical field of view vs the duo 3
How wireless can not sustain 4k transmission,
Color night vision requires the built in lights
Motion tracking snapshots in one saves time going over footage

I will add that the night vision is insane without the lights. Coming from non poe wired camera to the 3v
It does not need to switch to IR with ambient light and still provides more than you can see with human eyes. The 3 may be the same.

Absolutely the 3v is the best for those who want a secure camera within reach of the target area. Also those who want it to be less obvious.

You can use this with a POE switch and a computer without the reolink nvr. At this moment 13MAY2025 I can not figure out how to get motion snapshot through the app or the computer. Neither can I find out how to get it to record just the motion instead of giving 5 minute recordings that make it impossible to see quickly what was detected.

It may be through the NVR from reolink lets you do that. Without it, no matter how deep you dig through the settings, can you find those features in the phone app or computer software.
