Here's my quick mini-review of the Pro-Line Racing ProMT 1/10th scale 2wd monster Truck. In this video, I go over my thought of the ProMT including positives and negatives.

I turned to some of the best names in RC Electronics to outfit my brand new Pro-Line ProMT - Tekin and Reedy. Here's how I outfitted it:

This looks like a super fun truck to drive. I am more of a 2wd kind of a guy than 4x4. I like both. I've driven both. 2wd drifts better/easier, 4x4 it's easier to save the truck when things get squirrelly. Great review! Makes me want to buy one of these.

Nice truck. I have the Pro2 SCB very similar base set up. My partner loves it! She thinks it's the best car to drive in my collection.
As you said easy to build, great for someone's first kit build. And you're right everything is top notch out of the box. All you have to do is put in some quality electronics and you have one of the best 2wd SCT/SCB/MT available. Great review on an awesome kit!

annoying all these people commenting that they prefer 4x4 monster trucks. well of course it's easier to drive and more capable but this is 2wd so live with it. it drives and handles as close to 4x4 as you could want for 2wd. less rotating parts and less breakages. I love mine, I converted a rustler to this truck and it's been great.

I wont buy proline again, had an issue on my Pro MT with faulty driveshaft while building and took a month of emailing proline with no responses until a head guy over at a main bitched proline out until the finally got back to me and offered new driveshafts. And now they have just discontinued the trucks without any parts support. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE PRO MT 4X4
