An experimental short film shot on Super8 and 8mm film. Originally, I was testing a Bolex C8 8mm camera and shot some footage on the PRT (personal rapid transit... essentially, a monorail) at West Virginia University. After getting the footage back and discovering the camera had some problems that produced bizarre looking images, I decided to shoot some more footage on Super8 with a Canon AutoZoom 518. I then spent a few weeks working on the audio, which contains a lot of layers of all sorts of sounds, ranging from foley I recorded to the sound of a malfunctioning Casio SK1 keyboard.

All in all, it was a pretty fun project.

Originally, this project was created using a DIY off-the-wall telecine of the film. In 2016, the short was restored in 720p HD with new 1024x768 scans of the film elements reconformed to the original master.

Absolutely loved it! Could watch endless amounts of 8mm footage. The soundtrack was amazing too.
