Hi Ed,
It felt so good to watch the review. But, can you either make a video comparison of this one with Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 (i7, 16GB RAM, 15" AMOLED).
Also, can you provide me deep insight of the pen input between this and Samsung galaxy book pro 360 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 plus

I've already decided that this is the laptop I want, but for whatever reason it seems to be only available in the 'states. United States is not the whole world, HP—it's not even close.

Great video! I'm curious, in your opinion what option is better: PCIe NVMe or Intel SSD with Optane memory? I honestly don't even really know what Optane is. Any help would be appreciated!

I am already using it...and i love it. 3:2 really nice for reading and working....and you know what...too many people complain with pen house...fan noise ...tall the fact...no machine perfect...just enjoy the imperfectness and you will enjoy its capability

Did you do any outdoor screen tests? Working outdoors in these days of pandemic is standard now, and I wonder how this OLED copes with full outdoors daylight

No 4K option in the UK for the Spectre 14, only the Spectre 13 but at £1700 a bit rich! The £1550 Spectre 14 OLED is 3k;2k and offers 1.5h more SoT than the 4k (media). Def at the luxury end but HP are close to perfecting the form factor so paying extra for that experience may be a good long-term investment. Hard to make too many gripes and if you can afford it, at the top of many 2-in-1 shortlists. Cheers!

Great Video! Bought the 13T in 2019 - had to send it back for overheating. Replaced it with the 15T which worked for a week then would not boot up, light went on, but that was it. Just retuned that one. So, now its either try the 15T again or the latest 14T. HP online stock are depleted because of Covid-19 and it is a 2-month wait to get it, and getting the 15T through customs was problematic. It came. It didn't work. I have a credit with HP, so forced to buy another one. Not sure which one to get 15T vs 14T. Recommendations?

Great review! Btw Does anyone know if this oled screen has a visible touch layer? It appears as a diamond-shaped matrix on whites and lighter colors. It is most notable when up close, but I could still see it from about 2 feet away. I had an older x360 and had to return it because I could not take the way the touch layer made the screen look almost dirty. If anyone could say from personal experience I would really appreciate it!

I think you’re comparing it to the wrong format, when you mentioned the Surface Pro tablet and mentioned that Microsoft has been stale on the format but what this is more of a comparison would be the newer Surface Laptop Studio which is more direct to compare with its 2in1 and permanent keyboard. Don’t you think? I’m just saying, unless I missed something.😅

Love your videos BTW. Quick question from the land of Oz. Myi have the same model, have you had any issues with direct USBC connection to a USBC monitor. It simply doesn't connect and is fuzzy. Seeing if you had noticed this on your your monitor that you are mirroring. ? Cheers

Hi, thanks for your information and great review.
What about durability? hitch and long use as a tablet. ? does it well again heat as the display will be back to fans. and what about the keyboard? could it damage them by using the device as a tablet?
Thanks

Hi Ed,

I'm in no rush to get a new laptop. But having seen all the reviews and my own research, i'm stuck on the Spectre X360. You mention that there might be a refresh of this model, so i have two options: Wait for a new/upgraded model, or wait until there is a sale to buy cheaper. I'm happy to do either, but being in the UK it seems to be rather annoying to buy a HP device.

I simply want a 13 inch FHD spectre...

Only thing stopping me from buying it is the unavailability of an HDMI port. Hoping they will add it to the 2nd generation. Loving the Silver color though.

any info on fan noise? other reviews mention the fans are loud and even kick in when doing light work like webbrowsing.
You mentioned it does not get to hot? Is that while using it prolonged time ie 2 3 hours on your lap? again other reviews mention it is not really usable onyour lap even when just browsing the web...as a laptop or folded 360?

Hi, would you recommend the 14t or 15t for students?

I know that you like to do the review of top of the line products most of the time. But will you please do a review of HP Envy X360? It would be highly appreciated.

How does this compare with a surface pro 8 ? With i7 16GB RAM and 1TB ? Which would be best for video editing ? The Lenovo slim 7i pro was also in my options

Do you think oled an "burning in" is still problem, if using excel for example every day 8 hours?

Does your lappy sounds "Creek" when you hold your laptop on bottom (between hinges)?
