Michigan officials push back on Trump's comment about Detroit

Former President Donald Trump made a campaign stop in Detroit on Thursday, saying the whole country would end up like the city if his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, is elected. State and local officials have since pushed back on Trump's comment.

The truth is, he does not like Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer. That is no accident what he said. I am sick and tired of someone always having to come behind him to clean up his sloppy mess. He pass disrespectful. Hold him accountable.

Our son moved to Detroit years ago as the city was starting to reinvent itself. It is a beautiful city. The downtown is thriving, there is major building, neighborhoods are coming back, and there is pride in its citizens. It's obvious that trump doesn't even know where he is since he thought it was a good idea to insult the city he was speaking in.
