Mike was raised from 12 to be world champion, like a pitbull, a beast, by Cus DAmato. He trained twice a day every day. He went through hypnosis sessions. Sports psychologists. Cus talked to him every night, motivating him. And he had one in a million genetics, he was bench pressing 185lbs at 13 years old. Last but not least, he came from Brownsville and was tough as nails and antisocially violent. It was a perfect storm to create a world champion, and unlikely to be repeated.

If someone watches literally every video on this channel and applies even 10% of it, he's unstoppable.

CORRECTION: Yes, Muhammad Ali, and Cus D'amato were good friends, but Cus D'amato had trained Floyd Patterson, and Jose Torres. He never trained Muhammad Ali. Angelo Dundee did.

What amazes me most of all is the beautiful arc of Mike's journey, and how now later in life he has become sage and gentle, a warrior in the garden. To me, he represents a fully realized person, one who has expereicned the highest highs and some of the lowest lows. HIs fights were legendary and his style inspirational, but I'm glad the warrior has finally come home.

Looking at Mike as a child breaks my heart man… he didn’t have to go through all this pain…

“Once I start thinking I’m somebody, I get really offended by them, but when I think I’m nobody, its ok.” Iron Mike Tyson!

Tyson definately trained harder than most fighters. He was thrown into a pit of scorpions and snakes and made it out alive. Of all his ups and downs I admire the man. He had great courage. Mr. X

Mike has one of the greatest comeback stories in modern culture. Thank you for capturing it in a thoughtful and well made video.

I have so much respect for this man. He fought so many demons and at the end of it, he really just wants to have peace.

“Having the will to win, not talent or genetics but the hunger for your goals to be met”. As a 5’6 32yo with flat who’s never been in a fight before I really needed this as I’ve taken up MuayThai. Thank you.

Tyson has grown into quite the elder. I love how he came out of his trials and tribulations. True champ, in and outside of the ring.

Keeping aside that the video is great...
This story is fantastic too. Starting from bottom, rising, falling and then the way he overcame is something that is rarely seen. Great story. And very very well presented.

Hey it would be great if you keep educating us more about logical and practical ethics and rules of mike and cuss. I loved this video and I always found mike interesting. He is like a lab bred and we can learn a lot from him. I request you to dive deep in to their psychological + philosophical methodologies instead of just sensationalism which everyone is doing. I really liked your video. Thanks dude ❤

I'm a big Tyson fan, so I can't be surprised, but that was surprisingly good.
