On May 9, 1945, World War II in Europe came to an end. But, even today, 79 years later, we still see people defending socialism.

The reality is that fascism and socialism are like twin brothers, and we need to combat both of them with the same intensity.

Why do you think there are still people defending leftist ideas? Share your thoughts in the comments 👇

What is also important to keep in mind is that you can put a label on anything, but that does not mean that the label is accurate. Consider various dictatorships past and present that in the official name of the country had words like "democratic republic" or "people's republic".

Wow this girl learned to open a book and read a paragraph about facism. Now she needs to read more about socialism and will learn to develop a actual argument.

This is like saying "North Korea thinks they're democratic, so democracy is almost like a dictatorship really!"

Fascist comes from Italian for fascio, which is a bundle of wheat - if that’s not the perfect symbolic representation of the collective mindset, name a better one

it's more that socialism always mutates into either communism, fascism, or nazism.

Be like the Polish, dont support either. I like that you also mention the only ones to gain anything of note under those systems of government are those in power, the people will always suffer to no end.

...congrats, you found the human dilemma. We all want the same thing, world piece. We just can't agree on how to get there.

Nope, fascism promotes the sacrifice of the self for the good of the State and private capitalistic business ... socialism promotes the sacrifice of the means of production (factories, tools, business) for the good of the people within a consenting collective of individuals.
