Man confronts thieves as they steal his car

Zachary Bennett said he decided to go for a walk on the Oak Leaf trail for the first time Sunday morning, but when he got back to his car, he noticed two people sitting in the front of it, getting ready to take off.

According to Milwaukee Police, there have been more than 7,000 auto thefts this year in the city. That is an average of 29 stolen cars per day.

Among those, Kia and Hyundai vehicles are by far the most targeted. Each was reported stolen more than 2,600 times this year.

Also imagine parking your car on a busy street where u live and wake up and think your going to work or breakfast only to find out your parked car has been hit and is undriveable but some mf with 8$ to they’re name is having the time of his/her life in someone else’s car. This is absolutely insane!! When I moved to Lithonia Georgia back in 2006 I was assaulted at a BP gas station. A young black man presented a pistol to my neck as I sat in my convertible BMW Z-4! His words to me were "un-ass the vehicle nigga, an you might see tamarrah!!" As I gently opened the door I vigorously reached for his weapon. I flipped him over my car door, he was now upside down in my car. I slammed the door on head and chest several time before pulling him out and calling the police. I was 4 years away from retiring as a Marine. That individual was severely injured and was incarcerated. I pressed charges. I just can't stand thief or a liar. That vehicle owner should have lit into those lil thugz with his keys sticking out of his fists if that's all he had. Until he could get his hands on one of those screwdrivers! DAMN!! But to just stand there??!! I don't know. Some of us are just cut from different cloths!
