I married my high school sweetheart and we were together for 11 1/2 years. Around year 9 he started becoming emotionally abusive, manipulative, and deceptive. I begged him to treat me better and did everything I could for him and even started therapy to better myself. My self esteem and confidence were shot. I developed anxiety symptoms I'd never had before and had no self respect.
The last year he started having an affair and left me for that woman.

Which killed me. But it was then that I started recognizing my worth. And i can confidently say I did everything within my power to make that relationship work.

This speech really helped ♡

After we separated I started grad school and accepted a new job that had doubled my salary. My ex husband who was still wth this woman started reaching back out again asking to see me and saying how he regret everything.

Separated from my husband yesterday. Married to him 8 years, gave birth to our baby just 6 weeks ago to find out he has been having an affair for majority of my pregnancy. I spent most of my pregnancy alone in our home while he was with her. He told me he didn’t want to be with me and didn’t want the marriage. He now regrets it after the mistresses found out he was married and stopped talking to him. He is now alone and I am choosing to leave with my child.
