I’m Milwaukee born and this man is more than an nba player. Most of us in Milwaukee had family who came to this country with nothing and alone but through hard work they laid down roots and for the most part every generation there after could give more to their kids. This isn’t of city of suits making millions or billions but a city of people that have to work hard usually in some industry. Giannis most importantly made a commitment to this city and didn’t just leave for a team with “more money” or “better players” like every other big name in the NBA. He made me watch basketball again and it’s been a honor to watch him as I look as someone like him and it reminds me God is real.
