Goddamnit my dude, you always sneak in one specific thing in each song that sticks especially with me. The intensity fits how this song feels perfectly. The calmness keeps me on my toes during the slowdown in the middle.

My god, I love the bass in this one. It is essentially the melody, and that is something that I love in many songs! Amazing, as usual!

This song absolutely slaps, I especially love the second drop and how the melody feels slightly discordant, like an anarchic mash of sounds that just appear, except they actually tie together really nicely, creating a drop that pretty much embodies what "Crazy" promises to deliver. I hope that this doesn't go down only as "that song from Kyouki" because in all honesty this song deserves more than that. (it is good that Kyouki gave more publicity to the song though.)

I think that when I first listened to this song about two years ago (about when I first discovered this channel) I'm pretty sure I had been there sitting down at home, mindlessly scrolling through my YouTube recommended and ignoring all of the online work that I had (lockdown) when I found this channel. I clicked on your most recent track (Lightmare) and being like the most impatient 11-year old in all of existence, I clicked out after 20 seconds because of the intro. (I have went back and listened to Lightmare btw, another banger everyone should listen to). That's when I saw Crazy, and needing some adrenaline after a dreadfully boring session of not-work, and seeing the title of the video, I clicked on it. I won't say it made my mood do a 180, but the song did genuinely blow me away and I instantly loved it.

EDIT: This is my fourth time typing this. I am now typing this on my phone because my browser refused to let me edit this comment, and would close out of the edit without saving it EVERY SINGLE TIME. Anyways, I’ve listened to all three songs a fair amount, maybe like 10-15 times each?

Crazy: This song is VERY fun! I’ve said this before, but it feels a lot like Challenger mixed with some of the aquatic and slower atmosphere of Nautilus. It’s a great mix of themes, and it makes for something that feels very familiar but shakes things up a lot. The electric guitar solo in the middle of the song is beautiful, and is probably my favorite part. This is probably my least favorite in the EP, which I hate saying because this song doesn’t deserve that negative connotation.

Ballistic Funk: boy, I LOVE this one! Definitely my favorite of the EP by a fair margin. It sounds absolutely nothing like any of your other songs, yet it somehow still holds that “Creo” feel to it. This is yet another song that’s so different that it’s going to take some adjusting before I can fully appreciate it, but the fact that I like it this much already is a good sign for the future. I’ve wanted you to make something as abnormal as Ahead of the Curve with some electric guitar in it for around a year now, so hearing this for the first time was an absolute blast. I like how there’s really no rhyme or reason to this song, it’s just a spunky beat with a few instruments coming together to create something that shouldn’t work at all, yet turned out so well!

Octane: This is my second favorite in the EP. The drops are very well-crafted, and have a volcanic eruption feel to them. The entire song carries this sort of impending doom atmosphere, like the world is ending and you’ve come to terms with that. The guitar at the beginning and string bridge (I want to say it’s a violin, but you know how bad I am with recognizing instruments) are probably my favorite parts. They add to that feeling of impending doom, and I think they are beautifully done. I love how the later portion of the second drop carries that guitar from the beginning with it, it’s the perfect transition to the end of an amazing song.

This EP as a whole is very well put-together. I think you did an amazing job at making the songs feel different from each other, but similar enough to be included in the same EP. It doesn’t feel like a bunch of songs thrown together like Virtualism (To an extent) Odyssey did. I would love to see more EP’s in the future, it seems like you know what you’re doing with them now!

The vocals feel kind of out of place (same with Never Make It) but the sound design here is pulled off really well, it’s exotic and unconventional and still sounds like it’s supposed to be that way. Nice work, as usual.
