Cala Maria was certainly hard, and that petrification spell she uses is just cold-blooded. When my friend was fighting against Dr. Kahl's Robot, he told me "Whoever thought of this boss should be shot in the face."

Not only was Dr. Kahl's Robot infuriating, it was even _demoralizing_ because at launch there was a bug where the your progress wasn't correctly metered during phase 1, causing a lot of people to wonder just HOW LONG this phase was supposed to last.

recently I played the whole Cuphead game for the second time and when I got to Dr Kahl's Robot very VERY suprisingly I beat him my first try, I though he would give me hell after all the torment From my first playthrough.

Personally, I am horrible at parrying and King Dice was my worst nightmare. Grim took me forever and strangely, I didn’t take too long to fight Cala Maria and Dr Kahl. When I replayed the game, I found I’m just good with plane levels and EXTREMELY LUCKY.

No boss gave me more trouble than Grim. Dr. Kahl definitely takes second place for me due to the first phase, but I REALLY struggled to get through Grim, mostly because of the second phase. Those fire guys started feeling randomized. One moment they would jump to where I was, next moment they’d jump to wherever I was leaping out of the way

I believe that ribby & croaks is one of the easiest actually. The first 2 phases can be easily passed eithout loosing any hp and the third - machine is also doable after you understand how it works

if Cuphead gets a sequel i want DR. KAHL to be the main antagonist and the final boss

In my opinion the phantom express was the easiest fight in the game. As long as you manage to shoot down the magnets before they hit your cart you can make it through the first and second phase without taking damage and with that you can push through the third phase without breaking a sweat. I 100% agree with Dr Khal and the Dragon though. Those two were the only bosses that made me lose faith in my ability to ever finish the game.

Literally just beat cuphead last night after 4 years of bullet hell and it was worth it..

Here's my advice for Grim Matchstick

Get the lobber and charge shot, smoke bomb or the heart charm, and either super 1 or 2.

In the first phase, use your lobber to shoot Grim. Parry the pink beams he shoots as parrying fills your super meter. If you need to, switch to the charge shot to avoid the tail spike and his fireballs.

In the second phase, you're gonna need the lobber to hit the dragon from above. The smoke bomb is op in this section as you can dodge the fire guys very easily.

The final phase requires the charge shot so you don't accidently hit the fireballs the dragon heads shoot. Accidently hitting them will shoot projectiles horizontally and vertically. When Grim uses his flamethrower, get above the flames and use the lobber if you can.
