Not "shooting the messenger" but this is VERY disappointing. Looks like the Rubicon is Honda's top machine now? The Rincon is turning into a joke, basically no changes in 16 years, wow! Looks like they just gave up on it, they should just drop it at this point.

I absolutely love my '22 Honda Rubicon Deluxe DCT EPS FA7, that blue is what sold me. I got mine back in April and the dealer says everybody wants it but it's limited beyond belief. I put cargo racks front and back, a 12" LED across the front rack, and a Quad Boss seat for the fiance.

Honda needs to start selling Fourtrax 300’s again. Not everyone needs a big bulky atv. I’ve had a can am outlander 1000R for 4 years, sold it and bought a blue 91 300 4x4 in mint condition and I don’t regret it. I do miss riding wheelies at 30mph but I don’t need it

When you said a couple years ago that you were hearing Honda would be bringing a bigger ATV/Rincon replacement, was that just hope or had you really heard legit info that something was coming?

I just bought a 2020 Rubicon DCT Deluxe and love it but if they ever replace that Rincon with something worthy, it’ll be a day 1 purchase for me.

Ditto for Yamaha and then making a bigger/better Grizzly

The only bright side for honda is that yamaha didn't change anything either and they had a substantial price increase. My 2020 Rubicon was in the shop several times for dct shift problems (blinking dash instead of gear) until they finally fixed it with a firmware update a year later. The plugs looked like it was running rich. Dealer told me I don't run the bike hard enough. LoL. It was also using considerable more fuel than my '16 rancher. Tried a new o2 sensor with no new results. Put in a power commander with a HMF quiet exhaust and their o2 autotune setup and now the plugs look great, it has more power (proven with uphill speed runs and a draggy gps), and actually used less gas than the rancher on our last trip with 6 hour runs. I state this because I was expecting a honda to just work out of the box and this experience has me looking at yamaha for future purchases unless honda brings something worthwhile to the table.

"The Rincon doesn't sell much so we won't spend time and money updating it" ...that's the reason it doesn't sell, at least give it a 4th gear or led lights. To much to ask for a plastic refresh to make it look like the rest of the line up. So a proper refresh is out of the question. But at least all parts from even the first year will fit without a problem

Wish I could get independent suspension in a manual foot shift model. I saw some one last weekend with an older rancher like an 2012 and there was no way to get it in neutral. The battery died the charging system went dead and the electric shift module was melted. Foot shift is the only way to go for me. Wish they give these machines a little more power. 30 hp on the rancher is week.

Well not the news we all wanted to hear from Honda but it is what it is. News about ATVs is still good news though. I’ll keep watching and hoping and don’t worry you are not to blame lol maybe just maybe Honda will still surprise us with some new big bore ATV news who knows.
