I never knew that they were Marines. Oohrahh!! And Col John Glenn (a Marine, as well) was in the audience. How cool is that?!

My grandpa and I used to listen to these guys all the time and I loved them so much. I lost my Grandpa yesterday. He lived to be 80 years old, and he fought in the Vietnam War. He’s the greatest Marine I’ve ever met

Simon and Garfunkel harmonized their voices extremely well, but they both said they never heard harmonizing until the Everly Brothers! Don and Phil thank you 4 your service as U.S. Marines . Heaven is a better place having both of you ! Rest in peace!

This wonderful song and appearance on Sullivan earned the Everly's their biggest hit in two years and it would be the last time they would reach the top 6 on the Billboard chart. They looked great in their Marine uniforms, along with the buzzed haircut, and sounded as great as ever.

I didn't know they served our country as Marines either, that's a great tribute that the Everly Brothers served, as well as Elvis. One of the best singing and guitar playing duos of all time, the Everly Brothers are the all time greats of rock and pop music. They were my favorites as a young kid, and Buddy Holly as well.

Always a pure joy to listen to, never embarrassing or crude.

Ed Sullivan was so iconic. No one has ever been able to mirror him. It was so exciting to see all of the day's talent on his song each Sunday night.

Watching in November 2024. My husband and I saw them in concert in Manchester, England many many years ago and they didn't disappoint. How we miss their brilliance.❤

I loved the Everly Brothers. Their "All have to Do is Dream" was one of the very first songs I listened to it constantly as a teenager in the 1950's.
