The best part is this just loses the serve, not the point lol. Some rules are different though, some let you do a reserve once per set per team, some rules let you do a reserve once per ball that did go over

I've played volleyball for years. Never did a jump serve that made it to mid court because I suck at jump serves, and now I'm 60 and jumping is less in my wheelhouse than it was 45 years ago. We've ALL had a doofy serve somewhere in our lives. It's just like falling off a horse at some point if you're a rider. LOL!

As a volleyball player, this reminds me of another story of mine:
So, outside of school volleyball, I play club volleyball. Me and my team were at a tournament and, for some reason that I can't remember, I was crying. After I had calmed down a bit (but still teary-eyed), I went to serve. I didn't do a jump serve like this girl did, but I served the ball and immediately fell soon after. I don't even remember if I hit the ball and it didn't go over or I missed completely, but it has got to be one of the dumbest moments I've had. Kind of embarrassing, but also really funny if you think about it.
