12, 000km is the recommended oil/filter change interval listed in the service manual for late model Kawasaki bikes. I use synthetic and change at this interval however manual does not specify synthetic. It is also the recommended a sync interval of 12, 000km. It is also essential to do a sync immediately after a throttle body sync.

There is no need however to change spark plugs at 12, 000km, only inspect.

I had been thinking of doing this with the V Strom. I have held off since it runs so smooth and I had so many FI issues in the beginning I would hate to upset the apple cart. Cool video. Going in the favorites.

I have a 09 zx6r. So do you or do you not need your air box hooked up while doing this? What about your injector showers? I’ve seen many people do it differently and it’s confusing me.

I’m thinking of doing this soon to see if it eliminates some vibration during acceleration on my 2010 Zx6r. I’ve heard of people syncing there throttles and it removing bike vibrations in the bars.

Hi, got a Honda CB650R, and the bodies do not have the ports to connect the sync tuner, there are 4 EVAP ports and 3 MAP ports
Do you think I can use the evap ports to sync tune?
Thank you

Did you set your sync tool to the single highest vacuum on any throttle? Kawasaki service manual words it so technical it makes it confusing.

Hey, is your fuel priming sound even or does it change the pitch at the end?
I'm trying to figure out if my sound is normal as it was nice and even on my previous bike - Honda. I'm not used to kawas so i'm not sure what is normal.
