This might be the most creative videogame ever. Every level brings something new to the table, and there's a lot of levels. Not only are new novel mechanics introduced extremely frequently, but they also effectively repurpose previously introduced mechanics in totally new contexts, there's basically never a part of this game that feels the same as the other with the exceptions of boss fights. And it's all wrapped in an incredibly polished experience with eye-candy visuals, few bugs, and one of the best soundtracks. This game has a flow like no other, it's the kind of game where if you don't pay attention hours will past as you binge through the levels.

My cat loves this game.
When I first got him, when he was a little kitten, he would watch me play this game for hours straight. Since I don’t have the game anymore (it broke, kept lagging me out) I pull up walkthroughs and I let my cat who is now 5 years old (in human years) watch it. And I bring his food bowl next to him.

I absolutely love the jazz in this game, makes the game a magic feel.

It took me five years to completely beat this game. I'm talking all the stars, all the stamps, all the gold flag poles, AND playing as ALL five characters on EVERY stage.


But in the end, it was worth it for those 5 shiny stars on my profile. And it remains my greatest accomplishment. Great video, by the way.
