Enrico Tomasso was taught by Louis Armstrong as nipper, Louis must be proud looking down now, note for note perfect with commitment & tone, his finest ambassador, Louis lives on, thanks, magnificent band & singer .

That trumpet player on the right comes real close to the Louis Armstrong sound and technique on West end Blues. Great band and musicians! Band sounds real authentic [ the sax section using authentic vibrato of the era rather than just playing the notes] as does the vocalist, dressed for the era and playing the part as well as singing in the correct style in fine voice...

I agree with an earlier comment that stated the trumpet brings the power and feel to Louis's lines from the 1928 recording. Spot on.
