These tutorials are helpful but I'd suggest creating a tutorial on how to fix previously inputted notes. For example is there a way to select notes and easily overwrite them or for example lowering them one octave with a key command? I know about ctrl + alt and shift + alt while inputting notes, but I want to be able to select notes and then lower/raise them one octave and things like that.

how do you input notes with the mouse? I just want to point and click to input notes, not use the keyboard. Is that possible? I think you actually do it at the end of this video, but I can't figure out how.

Can you hear the notes while inputing them (according to their instrument)?

I still find quicker the note input on finale. Is there a way to input notes like that in Dorico? (going up and down the staff with the arrows and just entering notes selecting the duration with the numbers)

I will buy this software if I can record live and transcribe live using the metronome. For example on Sibelius I put the metronome and I start playing the piano but the notes are all over the place. With Encore I could do that Put the metronome play the piano and the notes were transcribed correctly. Can Dorico do this.

At 3:06 why is Tab in the diagram? You don't explain what Tab does in this context. By experimenting I've found that if the top most left item is (eg) a tempo marking, then Tab selects the next bar line, and the next again. Same goes if the time signature is selected. But I can't work out an association with the arrow keys

How do you enter this: in 6/8 bar starts with a dotted- eight rest and then a 16th note say C4. The bar divisions are set to 1/8 notes and note 1/16th note.

Extremely off topic, but what mic are you using Anthony?

Dorico keeps automatically changing my notes values whenever I enter a note in write mode. Does anyone know how to prevent Dorico from automatically changing notes so that I can enter whatever notes I want?

How do you tell Dorico that the first two quarter notes are "pick-up" notes from the previous bar?

I sell a German product and I see only english videos.
Ok, then after using capella with terrible sounds but quick learning in only a few minutes I get very angry with Dorico. Nothing is intuitive!
It seams I cannot jump with the mouse to every position to change notes or to play and listen how it sounds.
I set the mouse to put in one single note but dorico puts in many notes automaticly. Why that????
Then I click to change for example from 1/2 to 1/4 but nothing happens. I must klick so many times until I can use an other note to put in.
Then the point: new lines: I did what you proposed. What hapened, it createt new lines ful of notes. What's that??? I want use empty new lines or with breakes like in your video, but not with notes.
I tell you what does capella: I click enter at the end of a line and wow I have a new line! But ok the sound of capalla is shit. The sound of dorico is wow. But writing notes is terrible. Sorry.
Why not do everything with the mouse, ONE click and good is???

What if you made a mistake and wrote a wrong note, how do you change it’s pitch?
