40 year old sneakerhead with about 25 yrs in the game…90’s era and the “Jordan Face Box” era was a great time. These youngsters will never know.

I was in high school when these sneakers came out back in 1998 and I was the only person in my high school wearing them, for some reason not too many people in my school had this pair. I remember this sneaker specifically because when they came out anytime that I went to walk in NYC with them on I could always feel the cold air on my feet because of the inner vent that the shoe had. The tongue at that time had the same identical piece of plastic for you to be able to pull on. The sneaker was a very uncomfortable sneaker for me as many nike sneakers are because not only do I have a flat foot, but a narrow foot as well. It's still a great looking sneaker even after all these years, just watching this video takes me back to my high school and the urge to buy these sneakers, but they're too narrow for my foot.

These flew, a dude finessed getting in line late because he grabbed food for his boy that was 1st in line, we let him slide because he said he was copping a 10 and 20 min later, his girl showed up with the kids and copped a pair walking up to the register with him. The pair was an 11 and JD had 1 size 11, I was 2 spots back and I'm a 11, it should've been my pair. I was heated when I found out, they had already left. Luckily, I hit on DTLR raffle😤

I remember wanting a pair of these as a kid but they weren't on shelves. Not like today where you can find them after release online. I saw a pair at Walmart that had very similar toe box and I rocked the ish out of them! These are a must have for me!

Got these when they first came out I still to this day remember that smell for that midsole, I super don’t remember them being this super tumbled
