This is a great review, i'm starting on a budget and i already spent few hours on virtual dj and traktor, soon i must choose what i'm gonna use, this controller comes at a fair price and thanks to this review i now know the limitations. ty

yep there is a official mapping however you want to use it with vdj since the integration is awesome with traktor, scratching however is more responsive than in vdj

yep traktor mapping works great and the jog calibration is awesome feels actually better than using the stock vdj le

It won't last as long as a metal controller, but it's good for learning on and parties.

hello i have a BEHRINGER BCD3000 and i love it because the play and cue buttons are hard buttons so it makes it faster for me to mix i want to buy the RELOOP BEATMIX my only question is if it has hard buttons as the bcd3000

I just bought mixtrack pro 2, but i had to decide between this 2 kontrolers.. serato intro is bad however i made it to traktor pro 2 because i got used to it before and dont like virtual dj so that was my final decision made. they are pretty much the same difference is just in pads that looks different but works same as beatmix efects/cues123, but you can manage samples with them and with beatmix probably not.

Thank you for this Great Review Phil!, just have a question for you ..., you said that beatmatch is possible with this controller .. but i could not found a sync button on this controller neither on the Beatmix skin at virtuall dj le ..iam a newbie and i would like to get some help matching the tracks together .many many thanks! youre doing a great job

Hallo (first: nice viedo as allways),
I have a question: I´m going to buy my first DJ-Console and I have two favourits: The Beatmix or the Digital Jockey two (if you recomende an other one just tell me please!). I have Virtual DJ and Traktor, so the only thing that realy matters it the controler itsself.
(sorry fore some mistakes, I don´t come from GB or the US)
