One major contribution to the border problems is that Trump metaphorically clogged the drains thru which the asylum seekers enter the US and so they clog up and overflow at the border at which time and place the US hurts and abuses them in “storage” facilities.

IF the folks were simply allowed to enter and move thru the system steadily with more judges to hear their cases, THEN the problem would greatly improve.
