considering the mistakes that people make in these competitions among some of the best around, I wonder what percentage of electrical wiring is actually installed incorrectly every year. Could it be around 25% or more? Bad wiring even passes building inspections sometimes so it could be higher.

Thanks for posting. How do they score? I can guess they penalize for code violations but are their extra points for workmanship? Neatness? How much does time count? Credit or not for niceties - like leaving some extra wire in the box for future changes (In the first video).
