I got saved in 1982 in Germany during my military tour. These albums were such a blessing. I believe they were humble and really desiring to give all glory to God.
This may just be me, but it seems like many today are performing rather than worshiping.

Praise be the name of the Lord 🙏 this song i Rene way back 1992 when i was teen i receiver Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior and i follow Him and served him with all my heart ❤️ and my life i offer him through the music ministry in our church in Bacolod Philippines, now am here in Hong Kong as an OFW bit i still serving the Lord even am still working in foreign countries, am blessed and thankful what the God done in my life 🙏🙏🙏

Despite my young age, I much prefer these classic worship song styles over most of what you get today. I find it a lot easier to worship when the music is nice and tame like this, but I struggle to even hear myself think when the music is blasting me in the face at some youth events. We need to bring back these songs for sure!

These songs continue to bring me to the presence of the Lord. They are anointed and to this day I don't know their singers. I have searched for their faces and names, and the internet does not give info about them. It seems they were interested to give Jesus the honor and glory, if you know what I mean...!!

I agree with the comments here. I much more prefer this type of praise and worship over today's style. I grew up hearing these types of songs in church, and they've always stuck with me. It just seems (to me) that I can get into a much deeper level of praise and worship with these. Thanks for posting!

Unfortunately I did not hear this wonderful group until later 80s. I got a sampling of maranatha on a 99 cent cassette tape and it has been one of my favorite tapes ever since. They have been one of my favorite groups and have really help me grow in my walk with God and added so much joy to my walk and my life. An excellent group that never grows old.
