I love ur reviews. I bought the b and o A1 after I watched ur review on it. I honestly like the JBL more than that Sony. The sound was cleaner with heavier bass like I like it. But I do like that Sony design.

Sucks Sony got rid of the LEDs from the XB30s & XB40s. Those were a big selling point over JBL

While Sony do pump those bass, the highs on Sony sounds muffled compare to JBL. And JBL on the other hand produce quite lot of Noise Artifacts on max volume. The Sony got plus on it's feats. like hands-free call and Voice Assistant which the JBL Charge 5 doesn't have. But despite all that I'd still go for JBL Charge 5. I've already tested it from Sand to Sea and Pool water and it 💯% working ti'll now…

I totally agree with your verdict, the JBL has better, cleaner, and richer sound. The Sony has a better and punchier bass but the sound seemed a bit muffled to me and wasn't has clear as the JBL but a good speaker though. ✊🏿

I do appreciate your work it was a great job. However, In terms of reviewing sound quality what has been missed about XE300 is that it supports LDAC which can boost the sound quality, but iPhones do not support that Codec So you can't really squeeze out all its ability with those phones.

i have the charge 4 and i love being able to charge my phone while using it. Power goes out at my apartment at least once a year due to monsoon season in arizona so it helps.
