Gunpla is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and what better way to celebrate than by introducing a brand new Gunpla line: MGEX (Master Grade Extreme)! Todd is literally the happiest guy in the world right now.

It was quite fun watching you guys discover what was on the runners and trying to figure out what everything was for. You should do these more often for new releases.

If you guys want more im sure there will be a BANSHEE, PHENEX, PERFECTABILITY, FULL ARMOR, FULL ARMOR PERFECTABILITY, UNICORN TITANIUM FINISH, BLA-BLA-BLA.

They probably included swappable fixed hands because the Beam Magnum may be too heavy for the MP1 hands to use.

Such a big package, lots of new parts too. I'm sure it would look amazing when the light up features are turned on, hope you'll be able to give us a finished product review at some point in the near future! :D

even though i will probably never buy it (have a full armor ver.ka so just cannot really justify the purchase), like how this looks, a shame the V-fin uses the same iffy stickers, on my full armor i just used a gold gundam marker which imo looked way better then the sticker. also the 3 led things are probably for the 3 shields as they light up as well.

The three other leds are for the shield funnels.

It's not 100% new tooling though, since it still re-uses parts from the 2007 Ver.Ka Unicorn. Mind you they didn't even bother to electro plate the V-Fin, which the PG came standard.

That is cool how this how the psychoframe parts in clear.
But it would've been nice if they included the clear red and clear green.

I'm not surprised that some parts are being reused from the older version.

-Can anyone confirm? I just got to the start of the runners breakdown, and so far it doesn't seem that they checked to see if anything was reused from the original release(s).I'd imagine at least the weapons are recycled, but anyone know? Thanks.-
EDIT: So at least as of 25:05, all the runners previously are confirmed brand new.
