this is an ok cable tester but it cannot do crossover cables and it is too expensive to be missing that feature even though it can test shielded cables.

you must of missed the directions but on the website it says it can do crossover cables. when you insert a crossover cable the miswire light and the pass light will both light up together.

I bought a kit from Amazon that includes a nice cat6-5-5e pass-thru crimper/cutter, flush side cutter, cable stripper, cable tester and 50 connectors that I paid $33 6 months ago which sells for 30 now. Cable tester seems better than your Klein tool. It will go through every line in sequence and tell you which lines are at fault. All of the tools are good quality.

Did you ever test rj11 cables because I literally can't find a single video showing them testing rj11 cables and I've tested like 30 different cables all showing open nowhere in the directions that I could see does it say like oh yeah it's supposed to be that way with like a white like the crossover ones everyone's mentioning, I have a sneaking suspicion it just doesn't work for rj11. And every paid Reviewer is just being a little bit cautious of their Klein Tools meal ticket to mention that that features probably completely broken, obviously excluding you because this seem like a very straight up video of yeah this thing's not worth the money so I can understand why you wouldn't lol also agreed overpriced, if it went for 10 bucks I'd say solid extra meter to have just want to know if it's a pass fail LOL

I like Klein hand tools and for the most part are a good value. The electronics line for the true trade professional has less value
