Here’s a tip when it’s hot out get in the car open every window for a few seconds it will let all the hot heat out then roll up the windows turn on the car and the AC put the temperature knob to full cold that will keep the car from mixing hot air. Once it starts getting cold enough flick on the air recirculation and turn off the fresh air intake this will now start cycling the cold cabin air and the car will turn off the compressor so it dose not have to run all the time. Once the temperature starts getting warm again the car will kick on the compressor again. If you don’t hit that air recirculation warm air from outside will keep coming in and the AC compressor will never shut off.

I find with mine (Renault Megane) the air recirculate inside cabin boosts the fan speed more than outside air coming in option

Just one query...suppose temperature knob is o right side I..e red...but fan is off...does my car will heat up???

Is it true that when on the red for heating and you press AC, more heat will be produced?... Provided car has been running for while.
I have always associated AC to making temp more cooler, don't know about heating.

What happens if you let your ac system on but air flow is set to 0 does it still uses power from the engine or does it waste the battery.

Volume too low. You need to zoom in on the symbols so they can be made out. You don't say which settings is fresh air & which is recirculate; maybe you pushed the button but who can see that on a cell phone
