We came to Tacloban by land carrying a truckload of relief goods, hoping to make this dire situation a little bit better.

But we felt that we had to give more than just material relief to the survivors.

We accidentally came up with this song while shooting a documentary.

We hope to uplift the spirit of the survivors through this song.

I remembered when i was 13 yrs old. Typoon Yolanda gave me a chance to stand up and moving on, this was the time that i’ve been struggling my life— didn’t realize that I overcome those sadness and hardship that i’ve been experienced. Here i come. Now I’m here in the US. God you’re so good to me, you gave me this opportunity to continue my goals in life. I’m so blessed because of my faith to god and he didn’t dissapoint me in life.

Yolanda has brought out many basic lessons; value of nature, death, compassion and moving on despite the tragic disasters as Tacloban did hoping to rise again. . .this song made me tears, . .I am sad why this gonna happen, many died and everything smashed to the ground. I hope this tragedy in Tacloban City will awaken the world to take care our mother nature and initiate measures to address climate change. To Taclobanon, be brave as this song speaks because you are and you can rise again.

I now live in Tacloban City, Taclobanon and most survivors of Supertyphoon Yolanda owed much in their recoveries and courage through the inspiring support and help of the international community. I stay from Januar 1. - Januar 15. in San Joaquin near by Tacloban to help them to rise up! Wonderful peoples there and they need help.
This song brings up many memories to me!

Many parts of this video are made in San Joaquin (parts with church and cemetery)
