Ingredients.
500g butter
200g icing sugar
200g of almonds
1 tbsp ouzo
1 egg yolk
1 tsp rose water
1 tsp vanilla
800g of wheat flour
1tbsp baking powder
300g of icing sugar for the end.
Preparation.
toast the almonds and grind a little as in the video. let them cool.
beat the butter until creamy and then add 200g of icing sugar
after it is very creamy add the ouzo, egg, vanilla, rose water. beat well
While beating, add the wheat flour and the baking powder cup by cup.
then beat for 5 minutes.
now add the almonds until they are incorporated well
now make the balls as in the video and bake at 170g. c for 15 to 25 minutes depending on your oven.
take out and sprinkle with rose water before they cool.
Since they are cold, put them on a plate or tray with a lot of icing sugar underneath and then put the cookies and continue sprinkling enough sugar. check the video until the end and you will see how they should look normally. I hope you enjoy them as I do.
