I actually love more "haters to lovers" 🤣 enemies definitely sound more serious and it never is like that in the books, it's always a stupid reason 🤣

getting a video every other day sounds amazing! I appreciate that you invest so much time into making them and can only hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoy watching them 😊

Shadow of the Wind series is so amazing! Especially when you finish all four books and get the whole story. It's one of my favorite books/series of all times.

Besides a big thank you for the book recommendations, I just wanted to mention that this lip color looks phenomenal on you!

I was surprised to see romance books! Definitely adding them to my TBR. I am also very skeptical of romance books, but I trust Emily 😊

If you liked East of Eden I would strongly recommend Grapes of Wrath! I have read almost everything by John Steinbeck and I have to say his bigger books are his most excellent work!

For a fun little read Steinbeck's Travels with Charlie, it is about his traveling the US in a truck camper with his French poodle Charlie, and his observations on America. And Charlie is also quite a personality. Also the Wayward Bus. Steinbeck is one of my favorite authors. :)

I am so happy you loved Atonement. I read it when I was 18 (16 years ago) and to this day it remains in my top 5 reads of all time. Very beautiful story.

I love the four Neapolitan novels and am happy to hear you do too! Shadow of the Wind is a favorite of mine also.

I read the Neopolitan Novels when the translated versions came out and recently reread them after returning from Napoli. I’m also following the series on HBO and can’t help but feel totally a part of and immersed in the worlds of Lila and Lenu.. Extraordinary!

I’ve said this before, but I just have to mention it again… but Black is totally your color. You always look absolutely stunning in black. (Light blue looks great on you too)

I really dislike self help books but enjoyed atomic habits so much. Love your YouTube channel and just listening to you talk. ❤

I will say it again, if you like Atomic Habits, you should read The Power of Habit by Duhigg. It’s the book that inspired Atomic Habits and is sooo much better. It reads more like a science book than a self help book, and gives real life examples of how corporations use the science of human habits in order to get the people to do what they want…such as keep buying their product or keep going to their casino, etc. So good. ❤

I still haven't read East of Eden, but if you're interested in more Steinbeck The grapes of wrath is great. I wanted to read it for years and even bought it and then a college teacher I hated recommended it and made it sound boring and that made me not read the book for years and when I finally did I read it in two sittings even though it's 600 pages. It may be a little boring at first, but it's one of my favourite books ever

Highly recommend On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan. About a newly married couple, on their wedding night, and how their upbringing set them each up for this wedding night.

I read East of Eden and Shadow of the Wind years ago and loved them. Brilliant Friend is on my nightstand ready to go. If you want more Steinbeck, I thought The Grapes of Wrath was even better than Eden, just get through that first chapter and you're good to go. The rest of his work is novellas, pick any and you will probably enjoy it! Thanks for the video!
