This was good subject matter. A part 2 would be nice.

I used to love riding in the car to get to my aunt and uncle in Colebrook from MA, up Rte 3/I-93 through Franconia Notch and watching to see the Old Man appear as you got the right angle. It really was a sight to see...

Nice job, man. Great script -- and how refreshing to hear what I believe is a real human voice.

Great video! Would love to see more like it. Been to Kinzua many times having growing up nearby. Always amazed by the miles and miles of forest you can see from the top of the bridge

That old man in the mountain looks like something that would be so cool to see in person. What a shame it is gone now.

Great video! I wouldn't mind more like this! I had heard of all of these landmarks but didn't realize most were completely gone 😢

I’m from New Hampshire and when I was a kid I got a very nice miniature statue of the old man I cherish it

Thank you for pronouncing Kinzua correctly. Grew up not far from the train bridge. It was one of those things that was "always there"...until it wasn't. Fun side note, Johnny Cash wrote a protest song about the building of the Kinzua Dam on the Allegheny River. The now-submerged town of Kinzua was popular with divers as the town remained pretty much intact. There are still roads that just end in the reservoir that at one point led to the town.

I drove by the Old Man in the Mountain coming back from Montreal and got a photo of me in front of it 1 week before it fell down.

The Key bridge does kinda count. But it's wasn't a very big monument to the area. Mainly being over shadowed by the Bay Bridge.

0:33 *_Men hang out their signs indicative of their respective trades; shoe makers hand out a gigantic shoe; jewelers a monster watch, and the dentist hangs out a gold tooth; but up in the mountains of New Hampshire, God Almighty has hung out a sign to show that there he makes men._* Daniel Webster

I've been to all of these the latest being the Kinzua Bridge. My dad has a tree he grew from a charter oak acorn or I should say a descendant of the charter oak lol.

Time passes, things change. Sometimes it's unfortunate but try and let go.

Most of the natural beauty of Indiana Dunes was turned into glassware for Ball Co. The tallest sand dune in the state of Indiana was Hoosier Slide, a 200-foot-tall slide - as in a natural slide you go down. Though today, the only large dune that remains is Mount Baldy

I had a can of sardines on the Old Man's nose back in 1979. There was also the Indian Head Mountain, wonder how thats doing. Same idea, a profile with all the trees running down the Mt. that looked like a feather head dress

Face Rock in Red Dead Redemption II is a nod to the Old Man of the Mountain
