In original, he seems kinda worried about Allen and gently pulls him up, further showing an interest in him. In Remastered, Shepherd carelessly throws Private into battle, showing little to no emotions (he seems even kinda angry towards Allen for him still laying around). For me, in Original, this little detail makes him less obvious :)

Remastered looks a lot more cleaner, but I have to say the original gave me a lot of nostalgia

Say what you will about shepherd but there aren’t many generals that will be in the fight with you

I’ve always liked the original for painting Sheperd as someone who does care about his men and wants to see them succeed, but is also not afraid to put them in harms way to do what needs to be done.

But in the remake, he’s too cold and distant.

First thing that should have told you he’s a bad guy is the fact that a general is even in combat.

I always think about the fact Shepard for as much as he’s hated was probably a badass as a LT. Platoon Commander or CPT. Company Commander. If he’s in the middle of a gun fight as a general just standing there screaming at PFC then he for sure was stacking bodies back in the day.

Original one is just so much better in delivery.

He’s actually being a general and inspiring his troops, helping man get up so he can go where he needs to go.

The remaster just makes him look disappointed as if he’s been dealing with this all day lol

I feel like the reason why OG cod campaigns are better than the new ones is because it's not realistic but badass.
