We The Kings have released a new music video recently, even though the song they picked is already a couple years old. "Sad Song", off their 2013 album "Somewhere Somehow" has become increasingly popular lately, with a remix which also features Olivia Holt.

The video shows a family dealing with loss, expressing the lyrics through imagery, by showing the family in the same situations and places before and after a loved one's death. While before is very colorful, after is desaturated and faded. It all comes together in a thoroughly sad music video for an equally "Sad Song".

I had this classmate in grade 4 he was a year older than me, before we didn’t really consider each other friends. Once the year was over he went to middle school, like I said: we weren’t very close. Fast forward one
I’m in middle school now and I started to fall for him I could tell he had a crush on me too. We were shipped for just talking to each other it was embarrassing but I secretly didn’t mind. We started texting...One day he asked for a picture of me for my contact profile pic and I couldn’t find a good photo of me, he told me to take a photo of me right now. I tried but I feel so awkward in photos. I finally got one but I disliked it but he insisted I was beautiful in it. I’m really self conscious and he said ‘stop saying the I’m not pretty, you’re so frocking gorgeous compared to me’ I felt bad so I told him that he was pretty too, which is true. He’s the most amazing guy I’ve ever met. He’s so kind, smart, helpful, funny, trustworthy and way more amazing things. One day he asked if I was free to talk on messages, but then he ended up FaceTiming me. He needed some help with homework. I realized it was my first time FaceTiming a boy, It felt actually not too awkward. I really wanted to tell him how I felt so I did. It went amazing! It was only about a week ago. One of the most memorable things he said:

Him: Why are you so self conscious anyways?
Me: Oh. Well, in elementary school I was called ugly alot
Him: Well then. The people who said the must be completely blind

That night was one of the best feelings I had experienced in my whole life. We wanted to become bf and gf but we are too young (I’m 11 and he’s 12). Two days ago we got new seating and our teacher put us mainly beside one person in rows and the person I got put with was him. We talk everyday I trust him more then anyone. I know all his secrets and all his life problems, he knows mine. He’s an amazing singer and we did a duet for this song before in private. Our class doesn’t know how much we mean to each other. I hope when we’re older we can be together.
