These are actually microlocs since sisterlocks are done with a certain grid by a certified loctician. The interlock method is also a 4 point rotation vs being called all the way around. Information is good but accurate information is important 🙂

Microlocks are started with small braids or two strand twists. Sisterlocks are not. However once they are both started, they can be maintained the same way.

Please give the correct information. These would be micro locs. Sister locs are trademarked and protected legally. They do not use this tool, and you have to be certified to do them. False advertisement is not good advertisement

There's nothing wrong with correcting and educating people on the difference between sisterlocks and microlocs. First of all it can be helpful for someone who wants to start locs, because they need to know what to expect when it comes to pricing, finding a certified stylist, the method used, etc. Second of all, there could be legal consequences for misusing the Sisterlock term, so if y'all want people to get sued because you're scared to hurt their feelings by correcting them, then by all means keep coddling.
