This bloke is not exaggerating, that’s the finest fish and chips on earth. I lived in fife back in the 90’s, often went through to anstruther for a fish supper, such a wonderful treat. I’ve worked all over Britain, eaten fish and chips the length and breadth of the country. This fish and chips is far, far above any I’ve ever tasted.

I was just there in November 2023 and having tried many other fish and chips this was THE BEST! 2nd Time watching this and again with every bite tears are welling up in my eyes, because I know what he is experiencing!

Next time your there you need to try the wee chippy which is just along the road towards the hill you drive down to the harbour. Compare both Chippy’s. Might very well be the top two you will have tried

Been going there for 40 years and it has always been the best chippy it used to be a 100 yards away next to the pub and the old guy with the fish stood outside not been for a few years now I'm going to take a run up at the weekend😁

Best chippy in the world . I travel from Glasgow every now and then and it’s mind blowing. Never had a bad fish from there . God bless lads 👏🏻👏🏻

I love going to Anstruther for fish and chips. You can't beat it for the fish and the great wee harbour across the road from the chip shop is stunning

Agreed, tried many fish & chip shops up and down the country, found some really good ones, but Anstruther is in a different league to them all.
