How To Set Default Text for Every New YouTube Video

When you upload a video to YouTube, all your settings and default text can automatically be applied to the video by using YouTube's Upload Defaults tool. Simply type in all the default text you want to use in the description of every video, the category you want to use, the visibility of your video, default tags, and much more. I typed everything I could think of into tags, description, etc. that relates to any of my videos. These may not apply to all videos, but serve as a reminder, and when I upload a new video, I will delete what does not apply to that particular video! Much easier than trying to copy and paste everything separately! Thanks, Tim!

I set up defaults for a lot of clients and what we usually do for a title is this [Place new Title Here] - #brandedhashtag or something similar. That way the client or their team can simply replace the data with the data on their video marketing planning sheet.

Very helpful, saves me time, I still change my description from video to video but when I have links and stuff it saves time when it comes to that part of it!

I love this feature. Saves me a lot of time. Especially the tags that I end up using all the time. Remember though to leave some space to vary at least half your tags too!!
