NASA’s Stefanie Milam turned a childhood dream into a career in solar system science as part of the James Webb Space Telescope team. Visiting the Johnson Space Center in Texas at 6 years old was a formative moment for the planetary scientist. Today, Milam lives and breathes astronomy: look no further than the solar system tattoo (Kuiper belt and all) on her forearm.
