The federal reserve management has dementia. They have just forgotten they already have raised the interest last week and the 10 weeks beforehand .

It is not complex. As society, especially the economy, becomes increasingly inefficient, it adds to the cost of doing business and creates inflation. The cure is austerity and efforts to have a more efficient society. As interest rates increase, businesses and individuals cut back on their spending and cut things that as not an efficient use of money. That helps. However, the federal government needs to do more than increase the cost of borrowing money. It needs to pass a balanced budget and cut spending on things that contribute little to society. We also need to look at federal regulations that hinder the economy.

Good. Hike them. We had to lower them to this level in 2008 so the economy didn't failed. They are hiking them and the economy is surviving. Now if or when something disasterous happens and it will. We will have some slack and maybe we can do something. This also did a lot to keep the dollar the world currency. Lol
