I played this yesterday at my locals and I enjoyed it. For my build, I ran three Astellar and only one Rucia. After watching your take on them, I’ll have to adjust my ratios. I will admit, I got Impermed and Ashed on Astellar and it was rough. I only ran two Hugin and one Geri. I will agree a third Hugin and at least a second Geri would make a difference. I stopped playing Runick after Baronne got wiped off the planet as I really like Runick Bystial. However, this combo variant is a lot of fun. Nicely done on the top 64 too. 👍

Nice deck. Ur deck and DKB deck are the highlight of the tournament for me, alongside ritual beast. White forest runick and magical musket fiendsmith are cool decks.

This is definitely unrealistic, but I wish we had more time. The time control we currently have means that burn effects become a problem, especially when it's built into the combo like with Fiendsmith. But it's worse than that. If you need to pay LP as a part of your engine, all of a sudden you can't without risking losing to time. This encourages you to play for a draw, which again, isn't really playing the game. Like I've been playing Purrely recently and I realised I can't activate My Friend in many game 3s if the games have taken too long, not to mention that I feel like even if cosmic cyclone has a rlly positive match up, like against runick stun for example, I feel like I can't side it in because of the time control.

Been play testing your ratios since you dropped your list. I found cutting the 3rd Rucia for 1 Astellar. And the 3rd TTT for the Veiler. Its felt reasonable so far. Astellar at 1 lets it still be searchable of needed and still lets you use ur normal summon for silvy. You can also pitch with hugin effect and special it from grave as an extender from the Rciela effect, and still use the astellar effect then once opponent has burned through interruptions. This also still keeps runick count to 18
