So I had let this stupid thing run and run and no pressure was building. No where in my directions did it say anything about the valve on the bottom. Maddening I tell you. Thanks so much for helping this newby.

I agree with the comment where the guy says no where was it said about tightening the valve at the bottom so that you could build up air pressure I would think that would be a pretty pertinent bit of information. Thank you for enlightening although I will say I think you need to speak a little louder if you are using this air compressor while you're trying to listen to you you can't hear yourself at all and also what does it mean it handle the valve at the end and I find that to be a bit ambiguous does that mean drain it does that mean let all the air out does that mean let just a little out I don't understand please enlight

Can it be placed outside in a resin shed? Want to know if it can withstand extreme temperatures like hot/cold.

For anyone who was wondering "Why doesn't my hose fit into the valve like his does???" you have to pull up (towards the compressor) on the valve, to let the hose in.
