Seal Team Season 7 Episode 5: Drew Finally Open Up About His Past

Drew has remained a mystery since the first episode of SEAL Team season 7. There have been hints of a sad event in Drew's background at random times, and it appears that he comes from a wealthy family with whom he has no relationship. In episode five, as Jason, Ray, Sonny, and Omar are having a heated argument, Drew finally shares details about his background—hoping to silence the others. Because he lost his whole first team, Echo, in the past, Drew has been reluctant to form bonds with other SEALs or form teams.

In case you forgot, the Echo Team was involved in an operation that took place in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. After the SEALs entered a private property, it exploded moments later. It turns out that Drew was a member of Echo as well, even though he wasn't present that night. Tragically, the entire squad perished. After having a horrible family as a child, Drew tells Bravo in SEAL Team season 7, episode 5, that he thought he had found his own. Drew refrained from joining a new squad for as long as possible because they were torn from his fingertips.
