I’m pretty sure that the bed held up by ropes was to keep bed bugs out of the bed, and I think this is also where the phrase “sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite” came from, since tightening the ropes would make the bed higher off the ground

It's a story about the "doll graveyard" once a time there was this man who was collecting old and ruined dolls. When he came home he would put them in the backyard, and the one morning he was found dead in his house, and the neigbouhours said that they heard some weird sound coming from his house and now somepeople Belive that the dolls killed him

If you see the crosses hanging from a tree or bones 🦴 hanging from trees it’s how us WICCANS remind you that this is a PLACE OF THE DEAD 💀 and to beware of where you step, to be respectful of their space and not to be disrespectful in that area. Usually because We are trying to calm an angry spirit.
We do this when someone wasn’t given a proper burial or a grave was vandalized and we do this to calm the spirits as a sign of forgiveness for someone else cruelness or other’s bad actions.
If you see a cross hanging fro a branch or bones 🦴 we usually use ethically sourced Chicken bones 🦴 and hang them with ribbons 🎀 loosely from the tree branch 🌳 because we don’t want to harm the tree either,
We usually say a blessing for that tree as well. Because if innocent blood 🩸 was spilled near that trees roots or near by the tree absorbs that energy, so it’s a way we can bless and lighten up the darkness in that area, so if you see this now you know this is a place for the dead 💀 and to please be respectful of where you step.
We have a tremendous amount of respect for the dead in our faith, and we work with spirits daily. We want them to be happy, cared for especially if something tragic happened near by that area.

My parents used to collect antiques and we lived in a house in Haddam, CT built in 1755. Upstairs there were two bedrooms, one was mine and one was the guest room. In the guest room there was a queen size rope bed just like the one in this video. It was so comfortable. The only problem with it was it sagged from the ropes being stretched and, when two people slept in it, they always ended up sliding to the middle during the course of the night.
