This is the official tutorial for the #MHDchallenge (Mental Health Dance challenge). Here Malcolm Koroma and Jason Owusu of the VYG (Victory Youth Group) take you through the moves to get you ready for your challenge.

You will need a red hanky for the dance which signifies war against depression or whatever else may be trying to put you down.

Remember, you can do Part 1 of the dance, Part 2 of the dance, or do the whole thing. Part 2 is the easier part, but do give Part 1 a try too.

Remember to record yourself and challenge someone else (or a group of people) to do the challenge too. Post on social media with the following hashtags: #MHDchallenge #ChrissyBShow #VYG.

'MHD' stands for Mental Health Dance challenge. It’s a dance that aims to encourage people to look after their mental health, and wellbeing, fight back against depression & other mental health issues and raise awareness.

How does it work?

Step 1: Watch the official dance video and get inspired. You can find the official video in this playlist or click the link at the end of the this video.

Step 2: Watch the tutorial above & learn the dance.

Step 4: Record yourself doing the challenge and post on social media and challenge your friends and colleagues to do the same stating the following:

“I (your name) challenge you (your friend’s/colleagues names) to do the Chrissy B Show’s #MHDchallenge” Remember to use the hashtag #MHDchallenge #chrissybshow #VYG

Your video could be selected to air on the Chrissy B Show on mytv SKY 203.
