The speedo just stops at 280 but it prob hit 290

1.8 TSI is not 20v, that's the old 1.8T.

People that think is fake is becouse they have no idea about engines. They only see 1.8 lol it's a 20V engine lol 20 not 12 or 16 and so on...

Stock with no mods will do at most 240 kmh gps speed.
This one either speedometer is not working correctly or it's modded.
Modded could probably do 260 kmh plus true GPS speed, and speedometer could indicate what the video shows ( 280kmh) if it's way off.

The perception of the video is that the speed at which the car circulates is not the real one. to circulate at 200 km / h marker, the trucks that you overtake pass too slowly .. I have circulated many times at 200 km / h and the trucks disappear much faster than they do in the video. A car can vary the speed a lot, but a truck? A truck circulates at a maximum of 90 km / h / 100 km / h, and when you pass them at 200 km / h .. they disappear from the moment of view .. and the ones in the video take too long to disappear to circulate at 200 km / h. marker has problems.

Yeah definitely not real 175 mph in a 1.8 TSI even if mapped not having it 🙄
