I would temporarily turn off automatic updates for iOS for a week to make sure there aren't "showstopper" bugs that could hamper the operation of some features of the iPhone. That's what I did to my iPhone X.

there’s this thing that people have no idea about it’s called “smart invert” it turns everything even apps to black also the emojis turn blue even your key board turns black and i didn’t even need ios 13 plus i haven’t got it yet since i have an iphone 6

The dark mode is sweet for people who like it especially since it kinds of hides the notch depending on what apps you open! Its also smart for those who eyes burn from the Oled screen I’m most definitely getting the iPhone XR now!
