I don't know if José added this little detail on purpose, but at 3:40 when he is repeating 'cycling trivialities', he does so every two bars, and there's 7 beats rest in between. It kind of feels like a week cycling over and over, mundane, trivial, repetitive, but always bookended by the realisation that it is so - that we need to change and correct how we are living. And yet the next week plays out always the same as the last.

Don't torture yourself trying to fit yourself through a hole that you don't fit through. It's okay - you don't have to do it if you don't want to. I know lots of people who have turned unconventional paths into fulfilling lifestyles. Some of them even own their own houses and haven't even hit 40. Don't let anybody hold you back because their own dreams were shattered. Life isn't always what you expect it to be, but it's a beautiful thing.

This song is so beautiful, the feeling is indescribable. But I feel like in my lows it helps me to feel hopeful again, even when I wish I didn't. This Stuff always reminds me to stay humble. Working in a fast paced career orientated office environment is like pure poison to the mind. This music helps taking a step back at the end of the day and focus on family instead of work. Sometimes it is really hard to not focus on things as acquiring a fancy car because your neighbour has one or comparing your success in Office to the success of your co-worker but josè helps me to understand that it is all "cycling through trivialites" and while collegues get divorced or need treatment over burn out or depression I can focus on the important things in life. At least what truly is important to me. Thanks a lot of that Jose !!!
