So…I know about the mitten crab because it also invaded our German rivers. Here is the thing, in Germany we don’t eat them since they are just too small, BUT they are super to use as bait for fishing other fish or even eel with a fishing rod (Only works with mitten crabs that freshly tossed of the old shell and are soft enough to be eaten by the desired predators). After seeing this video, I sort of ask myself if the mentioned parasite could still infiltrated the human body if one doesn’t eat them themselves but used them as bait🙀

I read a coconut crab has the force of 150kg. That is 10 times the grip force of a child. Still, it definitely will cut your finger.
