Nascar Thunder 2002 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Nascar Thunder 2002 for Playstation 2 developed by EA Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts.

Nascar is fast, intense, and it takes over a Sunday afternoon. And few games show this better than Nascar Thunder. The game features many famous tracks and drivers from Nascar, with over 40 racing at a time. The game has several different game modes, from just single races to seasons to even careers. This is a older title but the Nascar experience it delivers still holds up today.

This was my first ps2 game and it was I don't know I still have it here I could just play it myself

How I see nascar 42 cars going 180mph 5 inches away weeving between cars and drafting and keeping your foot on and off the gas at the right moment at any moment one mistake could have you end up under a pile of burning cars cars. Not to mention unlike other races in NASCAR the only tool in the car is you, no ABS not Traction control no low pressure or engine warning lights like in other cars.

Which is the best NASCAR game for PS2? I have played a lot of the new ones and wasn't to impressed, the didn't seam anywhere near as realistic as this one. When did it start to got bad?
I don't want to buy more then one (I like NASCAR, but not THAT much), so which one gives the best experience on the PS2?
