In this video we see a typical sacrifice against the castled king in a fantastic game between second World Champion Emanuel Lasker and Johann Hermann Bauer. The idea the sacrifice pursues is to destroy the pawn structure of the castling giving the two bishops, so queen and rook will have open and direct lines against the enemy king.
